Description
Loose souls “shed tears” when they deterioate and become corrupted. These tears are purple/blue crystals that seem to grow out of the ground near loose souls. Tears are their raw form, which can be fashioned int Soul Jars by professionals (Soul jug cutters).
Souls can be forced into Soul Tears with the Crystallize soul spell, though there it is a great sin/taboo in most cultures to do this to sympathetic humanoids, especially if they carry around a Soul Jar of their own, with a wish for where their soul should be transported.
