Entkin are walking trees, favored people of Gjerthr. They live long lives and are slow to react. They will work hard to protect nature and serenity, as that is what they are, serene nature. Many are surprised that they can talk, they often are good listeners, but will only respond after giving their response a good, long think.

Advancement

  • Ability Score Increases. Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
  • Age. Entkin emerge from the forests fully grown. They prefer to keep it a secret on how they procreate and raise their young. They can live to be 300-400 years. When too old to move, they freeze in place, but still there are life signs. A soul does not emerge, when an Entkin “dies naturally”.
  • Alignment. Most entkin are Good, but they are usually on all sides of the Lawful-Chaotic spectrum.
  • Size. Entkin are about 5-6 feet. Most standing a head taller than humans. Your size is medium.
  • Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
  • Languages. You can read, speak, and write Common, Sylvan and Druidic.
  • I am Nature. You have expertise in the skill Nature and Survival.
  • Natural Armor. You have tough, thick, bark-like skin. When you aren’t wearing armor, your base AC is 13 + your Constitution modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield’s benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.
  • Earth Walk. You can move across difficult terrain without expending extra movement if you are using your walking speed on the ground or a floor
  • Passes without a Trace. You cannot be tracked, except by magical means.
  • Tremorsense. In addition to normal sight, you have tremorsense. At level 1 this has a range of 15ft. The range increases to 30ft. at character-level 10. For this Tremorsense to work, you must not be wearing shoes with soles, your naked feet must be touching the ground.
  • Chameleon. When naked and not carrying anything, you gain a +5 to stealth.
  • Fire Vulnerability. You are vulnerable to Fire damage.
  • Poison and Piercing Resistance. You are resistant to poison and piercing damage.
